Here's what we have on special now!
First launched in 1983, Ketel One is made from 100% GMO-free European wheat. It is distilled in a combination of column and pot-distillation, including the original 19th century coal-fired pot still named "Distilleerketel #1".
"A fairly robust aroma of grain found on the nose. Tasting is fairly full and soft. The wheat flavor is light and peppery. The finish is clean and the vodka has a long finish. One to sip or mix in a fine cocktail."
"Russian Standard Vodka is a good example of a wheated vodka. Gentle toasted notes on the aroma with a bit of sweetness which extends on the palate with that Wheat Thin flavor. Just enough to help with the bite of the 80 proof vodka. Average mouthfeel with a clean finish of moderate length.
A blend of four different grapes makes Apothic Red wine an interesting wine to drink.
Apothic Red is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Zinfandel. This wine reveals intense fruit aromas and flavors of rhubarb and black cherry, complemented by hints of mocha, chocolate, brown spice and vanilla.
Rose - Sweet berries give way to cinnamon and cloves on the palate. Hints of tart cranberry and under ripened cherry on an otherwise spicy finish.
Cab Sauvignon - A crowd-pleasing, cabernet sauvignon that's sourced from both international and Canadian vineyards. Medium ruby in colour with aromas and flavours of black currant, red cherry, dried herb and plum. The palate is dry, medium bodied and smooth with juicy berry and spice on the finish.
Pinto Grigio - Easy drinking, refreshing white wine, sourced from vineyards in Canada and around the world. Shows delicate aromas of apple, tropical fruit and citrus with a hint of spice. Dry, light-bodied with refreshing pear, green apple and citrus flavours. Perfect for casual sipping or pair with light fare, salads and appetizers.
Shiraz - Flavors of black cherry and a hint of spice are enhanced by rich red fruit aromas. An excellent match with grilled red meats such as steak, roast beef, ribs and lamb.
